Brian and I visited the Cloverleaf Auction in Grenada on Monday...and what a long day it was.
We arrived at 9 am to be the first people there. The auction was suppose to start at 10 and we wanted to look around a bit first and get a good seat. It wasn't quite what I expected. A little smaller and not as organized, but in all they had lots of nice things.
The bidding began around 10:30, after Brian got very antsy that they were so late starting. Knick knack after knick knack was auctioned off...when are they going to do the furniture? We waited patiently. I have to say, Brian did very well considering we were there from 9 am to 2pm. (I must say I have a wonderful husband who goes places with me when he would much rather be elsewhere!)
Finally the furniture...after waiting all this time it was worth it.
I have been looking for a piece to store my china in and here it is finally ( and for a really great deal).
