9 Delta Girls and an Indian Reservation

Every year some friends and I take a long road trip to the Indian reservation in Choctaw, MS...every year it is a new adventure!! We had some seasoned water parkers this year and some new comers on the trip.

The trips begins as I venture to Vaughn, MS to meet Reed and Dana at Reed's home.....well listening to Dana's directions probably was not the best idea....needless to say I took the scenic route to Reed's. The rest of the crew left from Belzoni in a different vehicle.

9 Delta girls finally arrive at Geyser Falls water park, yes we are all close to thirty but still that little child waiting outside the water park as giddy as always still lives in all of us.

Needless to say there are a few family reunions in town and they have taken over the water park. We stake out the perfect spot on the beach and we baste ourselves with sunscreen and tanning oil. What a day!!

We have a great time....but always a little drama ( i lost my credit card and my ID - but was later found)

Later we had dinner, did some gambling and dancing.
Dancing turned into an all night event - and the morning ended with breakfast at the Bistro 24 with some molded bread, bad service, and rude waiters.

All in all it was an adventurous trip, but worth every minute when traveled with friends.
